The Craft

The "Gulf-Giant" is a modular jack-up platform which can be transported by road to the site on four flatbed trailers. If a 70 ton crane is used, the "Gulf Giant" can be operational within 7 hours. It is generally supported by a 27ft launch tender.

Suitable to accommodate a Pilcon Wayfarer, Edeco T30 or Wirth rotary rig. Typically supported by hydraulic power pack for jacking as back up the design of the "Gulf Giant" is such that the hydraulic systems of the drilling rigs can take over jacking.
